Veteran technology executive to lead the Center’s applied research and advisory work across organization design, transformation, the future of work, and AI.
LOS ANGELES, CA, UNITED STATES, October 6, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — The Center for Effective Organizations (CEO) at the USC Marshall School of Business today announced the hiring of Alexis Fink, PhD, a three-decade technology and people-analytics executive with senior roles at Meta, Microsoft, Intel, and BASF, most recently Vice President of People Analytics and Workforce Strategy at Meta, as Director. In this role, Fink will lead CEO’s full portfolio of applied research and advisory work spanning strategic organization design, organizational transformation, the future of work, and strategic resource groups, while also expanding the Center’s growing focus on AI and transformation.
In her new role, Fink will carry forward the Center’s more than 45-year legacy of bridging rigorous research with practical solutions for organizations, while expanding CEO’s ability to help clients navigate the growing role of AI in how work gets designed and led. Fink’s appointment also deepens CEO’s expertise in both analytics and organization design, areas that are critical for organizational effectiveness. “The evidence is clear that analytical insight only translates into organizational impact when it’s grounded in a rigorous understanding of how change actually happens inside organizations,” said Alec Levenson, Senior Research Scientist at CEO. “Alexis brings the integration of research and practice to CEO at exactly the moment when AI is forcing us to rethink how data-driven insight, organization design, and organizational change intersect.”
Fink says the opportunity reflects a natural next step. “After three decades leading through technology-driven change inside large organizations, I’ve seen firsthand how hard it is to transform an organization,” said Fink. “What drew me to CEO is its track record of combining rigorous research with on-the-ground application, and its commitment to strategic organization design, which is critical to making transformation work. I’m looking forward to helping navigate what AI actually means for the future of work.”
