Sunrun Leads PurposeBuilt100™ Big Impact Players Top Ten

STOCKTON, Calif. —  Aug. 27, 2026 — (KOREWIRE) Sunrun Inc. has claimed the No. 1 position on the inaugural PurposeBuilt100™ Big Impact Players Top Ten, a special re-ranking designed to recognize companies generating exceptional revenue growth at substantial scale.

The Big Impact Players list is not a separate awards program.

Every company on it first had to qualify for the PurposeBuilt100, meaning it had already passed a social or environmental impact screen and demonstrated sufficient geometric revenue growth to earn a place among the 100 overall winners.

The Big Impact Players ranking then asks a different mathematical question.

The overall PurposeBuilt100 ranks qualifying companies by geometric revenue growth from 2021 through 2025. That calculation tends to highlight businesses capable of multiplying smaller starting revenue bases dramatically.

Big Impact Players instead uses arithmetic growth: 2025 revenue minus 2021 revenue.

That approach favors companies capable of adding very large amounts of revenue in absolute dollars.

“The two rankings show two different and equally fascinating dimensions of growth,” said Devin Thorpe, host of SuperCrowd26 and CEO of The Super Crowd, Inc. “The overall PurposeBuilt100 asks, in effect, how dramatically did the business multiply? Big Impact Players asks how much revenue did the company actually add. To appear here, a business first had to demonstrate the kind of geometric growth required to make the PurposeBuilt100 and then stand out for astounding absolute growth as well. These are companies creating impact at real scale.”

How PurposeBuilt100 Companies Were Selected

The Super Crowd screened literally thousands of public and private companies for meaningful social or environmental impact.

Public companies were considered using publicly available information, including SEC filings, while private companies could apply for consideration.

Only businesses passing the impact screen were eligible for the PurposeBuilt100. The primary ranking then used geometric revenue growth from 2021 through 2025.

Big Impact Players takes companies from that qualified universe and re-ranks them using the absolute arithmetic increase in revenue between 2021 and 2025.

“Fast percentage growth is extraordinarily difficult,” Thorpe said. “Adding enormous amounts of revenue while still growing fast enough to qualify for the PurposeBuilt100 is extraordinarily difficult in a different way. The Big Impact Players deserve recognition for doing both.”
