Produced by multi-GRAMMY Award winner Lucy Kalantari, the album celebrates dreaming big, finding your voice and trusting the journey
LOS ANGELES, CA, UNITED STATES, August 18, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — LOS ANGELES, Calif., August 2026 — Memphis-born singer-songwriter and family music artist Snooknuk celebrates the release of her new album, All In Good Time, which debuted at #1 on the U.S. iTunes Children’s Albums chart following its August 14 release.
Produced by multi-GRAMMY Award-winning producer Lucy Kalantari, All In Good Time is a genre-spanning collection drawing from soul, Motown, gospel, New Orleans jazz, doo-wop, contemporary R&B and sweeping orchestral pop.
Across 13 tracks, Snooknuk — the family music project of singer-songwriter, performer and director Cheri Moon — encourages listeners of all ages to dream boldly, find their own voice and trust that life’s greatest moments can unfold in their own time.
“This album is really about believing in what’s possible,” says Snooknuk. “We tell children to dream big, but I think adults need to hear that too. Your dreams don’t always happen on the schedule you imagined. Sometimes you have to keep going, keep believing and trust that your moment will come all in good time.”
The album opens with the joyful, New Orleans-inspired “Brand New Day,” celebrating the promise of a fresh start.
The funky contemporary soul single “Do Re Mi” features Kwamé, Pierce Freelon and the Stax Music Academy Choir, encouraging young listeners to embrace self-expression and find their own voice. Its accompanying music video was directed by Cheri Moon and filmed at the Stax Museum of American Soul Music in Memphis, bringing the exuberant spirit of classic performing-arts films together with the legacy and energy of Memphis soul.
Other highlights include the Motown-inspired summer anthem “Sun of Summer,” featuring Divinity Roxx; the fearless “Jump Baby Jump,” an invitation to take chances and chase opportunity; and the soaring orchestral anthem “Limitless,” featuring Jabali Afrika, which encourages listeners to dream beyond perceived boundaries.
An ambitious new music video for “Limitless,” filmed in Africa, is planned for release later this year.
Snooknuk also gives Joe Raposo’s beloved classic “Sing” a soulful new interpretation, joined by family music artists including Lucy Kalantari, Uncle Jumbo, Kymberly Stewart, Sonia De Los Santos, The Wise Family Channel, Roy Moye and Joya, with Janet Robbins on bass.
“Hey Sister,” featuring Rissi Palmer, celebrates the bond between siblings; “Thankful” explores gratitude; “This Is My Family,” featuring the Pigram Family Choir, celebrates the people who stand beside us through every season of life; and “Say Something” reminds young listeners that they never need to face their struggles alone.
The album culminates with its inspirational title track, “All In Good Time,” an affirmation of patience, perseverance and faith in one’s own journey.
The #1 iTunes debut marks a milestone for Snooknuk, whose music is reaching families through streaming, live performances and children’s radio. Music from the project has received support from SiriusXM Kids Place Live and Pandora, and Snooknuk celebrated release weekend with a special Kids Place Live takeover featuring songs from All In Good Time alongside a selection of her own favorites.
MEMPHIS ROOTS, MUSIC FOR A NEW GENERATION
Born in Memphis, Tennessee, Cheri Moon grew up immersed in the musical traditions that continue to shape Snooknuk’s sound.
Moon began her career in gospel before working with acclaimed producers and artists including Timbaland, Jimmy Douglass and Missy Elliott. She later participated in 1 Tribe Collective’s GRAMMY-nominated album All One Tribe.
With Snooknuk, Moon brings those musical roots into a creative world spanning recording, live performance, edutainment and youth engagement.
“Children deserve great music,” Moon says. “They can feel soul. They can feel joy. They understand when something is real. I wanted to make an album families could experience together — music that a child can grow up with rather than grow out of.”
