Bangkok, Thailand – October 27, 2026 – PRESSADVANTAGE –
Siam Legal International, a full-service law firm with more than 22 years of experience in Thailand, has detailed what happens after a Thailand Privilege Visa applicant receives their approval email, from settling the membership invoice within 30 days to registering as a member and scheduling the visa fixation appointment. The guidance addresses one of the most common questions raised by applicants of the Thailand Privilege Visa, formerly known as the Thailand Elite Visa.
The process begins with the approval email itself. Along with the approval, applicants receive an invoice for the membership fee, and from that point they have 30 days to complete payment.
Thailand Privilege offers several payment options, including wire transfer, cash deposit, online payment, and credit card. Payment by cryptocurrency is also possible through Siam Legal, as Thailand Privilege does not accept cryptocurrency directly.
Before paying, applicants are advised to check the bank details and any card transaction limits with Siam Legal to help avoid payment issues or delays. Once payment is complete, the applicant sends the proof of payment to Siam Legal, which then submits it to Thailand Privilege for verification.
Once the payment has been cleared, the applicant is registered as a Thailand Privilege member and receives a welcome letter. This marks the point at which membership formally begins.
After registration, the member can schedule the visa fixation. This can be done either upon arrival at a participating airport in Thailand or at the immigration office at Chaeng Watthana in Bangkok, giving members flexibility depending on whether they are traveling to Thailand or are already in the country.
“Approval is an important milestone, but it is not the final step, and the period that follows is where small oversights can slow things down,” said Rex Baay, Senior Immigration Consultant and Operations Manager at Siam Legal International. “Confirming bank details and card limits before paying, and planning the visa fixation around the client’s travel timeline, keeps the process moving from invoice to visa without unnecessary delays.”
To help avoid delays, the Siam Legal team works with each client to plan every stage around their timeline and recommend the most suitable approach for a smooth process. Support covers the full sequence, from payment and membership registration to scheduling the visa fixation appointment and ensuring all required documents are ready.
The guidance comes from the latest episode of Ask Rex, a video series hosted by Rex Baay, who has sat down with thousands of clients and found that the same questions come up again and again. With Thailand visa rules changing all the time, the series draws on real experience, and Siam Legal’s Ask Rex episode features Darwin, a Thai visa expert at Siam Legal, who works through real-world case scenarios on the Thailand Privilege Visa.
As a General Sales and Services Agent (GSSA) for the Thailand Privilege Visa program, Siam Legal handles applications and membership onboarding at no additional cost to applicants. Viewers of the Ask Rex series can submit questions in the video comments for future episodes.
